World-Class Ibanez PerformanceThe Ibanez SRMS805 5-string electric bass guitar is a modern beast! Featuring well-balanced okoume body with poplar burl top, a 5-piece jatoba/walnut SRMS5 neck and bound panga panga fingerboard, giving you both fast and comfortable playability. A touch of class is provided by acrylic special inlays.
The multi scale construction equalizes tension of each string and it helps to create a more alive and open tone whilst improving player comfort by coordinating with the way a player's hand angles as it moves up and down the neck. Driven by a pair Bartolini BH2 pickups, you get plenty of tonal versatility for all kinds of styles, which can be shaped using 3-band EQ with EQ bypass switch (passive tone control on treble pot) and 3-way Mid frequency switch included with the Ibanez SRMS805.

Bartolini BH2 Pickups
Modern Sonic SupremcacyIbanez equipped the SRMS805 with a pair of Bartolini BH2 pickups to help deliver some of the powerful modern bass tones possible. These pickups maximize articulation and a long blade pole piece widens the magnetic field, providing balanced string-to-string pickup response.
Also featured is Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, their latest refinement on the concept of simple and straightforward EQ control. The Boost and Cut for the Mid Control are both centered on slightly different frequencies, an innovation that offers a preset range of the most favorable bass tones.
Precision tonal control, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypasses activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the full tone control for the passive circuit.
